During November 2014 to January 2015 the Netherlands Enterprise Agency conducted online surveys relating to programme management and science and technology mapping in the field of ocean energy.
The purpose of the science and technology mapping was to compile and analyse relevant information on the stage of development and maturity of different technologies and infrastructures, the nature of stakeholders along the whole value chain, and key research priorities, regarding ocean energy. The survey consisted of three different sections:
- The first section (form A) aimed to gain information regarding priority research thematic lines within ocean energy, and was addressed to all kinds of ocean energy stakeholders and organisations.
- The second section (form B1 and B2) focused on ocean energy infrastructures and as such, it was addressed only to those stakeholders/organisations playing a relevant role in the development, management or operation of research or operational infrastructures.
- The third section (form C) was dedicated to compile information on the state-of-the-art technologies and projects, RTDI capacities, collaboration agreements and other strategic aspects regarding ocean energy.
